Maxime Médard was trained at the club and climbed his way up to impose himself as a key player. In 2007-2008, he became one of the club's major players, starting a lot of matches. The same year, he also had his first selection for the XV de France, confirming all the hopes put in him.
Great to galvanize the game, Maxime is really skilled for side stepping and confusing the opposite team. After a serious injury in March 2012, during the Six Nations tournament, he made his comeback on November 2012. For this first match, he scored an epic try and was given an ovation by all the supporters.
The last season, he took part into twenty-six games, in all competitions. The fullback, often playing winger in 2013, keeps on his way to the top.
Maxime was only 18 when he played his first match in H Cup. And it was an important game: the quarter final of the competition, at the Stadium, against Northampton. He entered on the pitch at the 72nd minute, April 1st 2005, and won the H Cup a few weeks later.
Maxime's record of tries in a season is 15. It was back in 2010-2011 and he finished best try scorer of the Top 14, ahead of Yoann Huget who was playing in Bayonne.
