Maxime Médard was trained at the club and climbed all the ladders to impose himself as a key player. In 2007-2008, he became one of the club's basic players, starting a lot of matches. The same year, he also had his first selection for the XV of France, confirming all the hopes placed in him.
Great to galvanize the game, we have seen him hit the holes unexpectedly at pace a lot of times. After a serious injury in March 2012, during the VI Nations tournament, he made his comeback on November 2012. For this first match, he scored an epic try and was given an ovation by all the supporters.
A few months later, he was selected again on the XV of France, playing the 2013 VI Nations and the Test-Matches in June. The fullback, who sometimes took the position of wing in 2013, should be on the foreground in 2013-2014.
Maxime was only 18 when he played his first match in H Cup. And it was an important game: the quarter final of the competition, at the Stadium, against Northampton. He entered on the pitch at the 72nd minute, the April 1st 2005, and won the H Cup a few weeks later.
Maxime's record of tries in a season is 15. It was back in 2010-2011 and he finished best try scorer of the Top 14, ahead of Yoann Huget who was playing in Bayonne.
